RA government introduced amendments to decrees on Lake Sevan![]() June 24, 2010 - 19:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Gavar city hosted a governmental sitting, which approved the schedule of events developed in compliance with the working program of the RA Presidential Commission on Lake Sevan Problems for 2009. The program aims to ensure implementation of short-term, medium-term and long-term events concerning preservation of the ecological system of Lake Sevan and its basin, rehabilitation of its ecological balance and solution of other related issues. The government introduced amendments to its earlier decrees, clarifying the list of communities adjacent to Sevan national park and adding estimated indices of water level increase in Lake Sevan. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
