Levon Tokmajyan becomes honorable citizen of Resistencia![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian sculptor Levon Tokmajyan became an honorable citizen of Resistencia, the capital of Chaco province, Argentina. The title of honorable citizen and a golden key of Resistencia were awarded to the sculptor at 2010 Chaco Biennale, Tokmajyan told a press conference on August 9. Levon Tokmajyan’s work – Globalization Progress – was described as one of the most remarkable works of the festival, while its author was elected a jury member of the next Argentine biennale. “My work corresponds to the biennale title – 21st century, Globalization. I came up with my theme beforehand in the shape of two horses, symbols of superpowers, carrying globalization progress on their shoulders,” said Levon Tokmajyan. Vahe Tokmajyan, son of Levon Tokmajyan, also participated in the contest, representing Canada.
