Gevorg Kostanyan: Artsakh authorities are the only power controlling NKR and adjacent territories

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh Republic and adjacent territories fall outside Armenia’s jurisdiction and control limits, representative of the Armenian government Gevorg Kostanyan told the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

As Kostanyan noted during Chiragov and Others case hearing, Artsakh authorities are the only power controlling NKR and adjacent territories.

The Azeri plaintiffs’ claim is outside the requirements of the European Convention on Human Rights and is, therefore, not subject to ECHR consideration, the governmental representative stated.
