Armenia to host Road Safety action on November 15-20![]() September 29, 2010 - 17:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian government hosted the first sitting of the National Council of Road Safety led by the head of the Council, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. UN-organized Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 was on sitting agenda. The overall goal of the Decade is to halt or reverse the increasing trend in road traffic deaths and injuries around the world by supporting road safety activities at the national level. Within program framework, Road Safety action will be held in Armenia on November 15-20. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
