Azeri attempts at distorting history – defiance to all Armenians

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia’s National Assembly vice speaker Samvel Balasanyan characterized the recent statement by Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, calling Armenian territories “ingenuously Azerbaijani” as a demonstration of anti-Armenian fascism.

As Balasanyan noted, such statements serve the tactical purpose of presenting Armenians as enemies in the eyes of Azeri community.

“Azeri president’s statement is a defiance to all Armenians, obligating us to unite in a struggle against Azeri propaganda. Diplomatic representations of Armenia, as well as the Diaspora must keep the world aware of the situation in South Caucasus and Azerbaijan’s attempts at distorting the reality,” Balasanyan emphasized.
