U.S. Department of State to encourage Yerevan, Baku to take action for Karabakh conflict resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Congressman Jim Moran sent a letter to the Azerbaijani Diaspora.

It reads that the U.S. will encourage Armenia and Azerbaijan to take action for the Karabakh conflict resolution to secure the region’s peace and security, APA reported.

According to Moran, the U.S. supports the OSCE Minsk Group’s initiatives for the conflict settlement.

“I have been to the Caucuses and have seen the matters that lead to distress in this territory. The U.S. Department of State will encourage Azerbaijan and Armenia to take further steps for the Karabakh conflict resolution to secure peace and security,” he said in the letter.
