Republic Party urges Karabakh entrepreneurs to return to NKR![]() November 4, 2010 - 16:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of the political council of the opposition Republic Party Suren Abrahamyan said that irrespective of the final resolution of the Karabakh conflict, all influential citizens of Karabakh, specifically entrepreneurs, residing in Armenia, should return to Artsakh to engage in investment activity there. It will be the best way for preservation of liberated lands, as these people will be an example for the Karabakh people, Abrahamyan told a press conference. According to him, it will allow solving the problem of populating to some extent, as well as facilitate the development of Artsakh. Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia parliamentary group Artak Davtyan noted for his part that nobody has the right to decide instead of these people where they should live. However, he agreed that increase in population is among basic problems faced by Karabakh. He added that if Armenia manages to completely use its potential, as well as double or triple the number of people residing in Artsakh, the country will strengthen its positions at the international arena. However, it should not be achieved through compulsion and persuasion,” said Davtyan. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
