  International Olympic Committee awards Gagik Tsarukyan with Pierre de Coubertin medal November 15, 2010 - 13:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet hosted a solemn ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s National Olympic Committee (ANOC). Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, representatives of CIS and Baltic States’ Olympic Committees attended the event. In accordance with International Olympic Committee resolution, the President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan was awarded with Pierre de Coubertin medal for his contribution to the development of Olympic movement. Awards were also granted to Armenian sports experts and winners of 2010 championships.
