Quilmes town council joins supporters of Armenian Genocide law

PanARMENIAN.Net - The town council of Quilmes, Argentina, has decided to join the 26.199 law, according to which April 24 was proclaimed the day of Tolerance and Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide.

The council meeting was attended by representatives of the Armenian community and Armenia’s ambassador to Argentina Vladimir Karmirshalyan.

The reasons and consequences of the crime committed by the Young Turk government were discussed.
