Armenian audience to watch Women’s Planet film soon

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian filmmaker, Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia (UCA) Ruben Gevorkyants said that UCA currently deals with creation of Women’s Planet documentary, which tells about women, their problems and feelings.

The film will be screened in Armenia in January, Gevorkyants told a press conference on November 18.

According to him, UCA also deals with publication of several books telling about the Armenian cinematography after the USSR collapse.

Gevorkyants noted that currently there are many amateur filmmakers in the Armenian cinematography. “We lack professionals, due to which currently we have that much trash,” he said.
