However, Sargsyan refrained from expanding on possible aims of such venture. Commenting on the OSCE summit in Astana, he said it’s a “sad event.” “The absence of U.S. and French Presidents makes the summit incomplete. To all appearance, Sarkozy and Obama don’t believe the OSCE to be a platform to resolve serious issues,” Sargsyan said. Public Policy Institute fellow Hovhannes Nikoghosyan disagreed with the opinion. “The OSCE is the organization which guarantees European security. I expect a security document to be signed during the Astana summit,” he said. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. ![]() ![]() Partner news | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
