Artak Davtyan: Armenia will recognize Karabakh one day

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s expectations from the OSCE summit in Astana but for the meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents have justified, according to Artak Davtyan, parliament member from the Republican Party of Armenia.

“It’s not the first time when Ilham Aliyev avoids meetings if the situation is not favorable for Azerbaijan,” Davtyan said. “Aliyev’s boyish behavior during Karabakh talks also echoed in the U.S. classified documents released by Wikileaks.”

He also stressed that Armenia will recognize independence of Karabakh one day.

For his part, Heritage party spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan noted that neither progress nor regress was fixed in Astana. However, he regretted that the participating sates did not condemn Azerbaijan’s continuous threats of war and ceasefire violations.
