Miroslav Lajcak appointed as head of EEAS department for Eastern Partnership

PanARMENIAN.Net - EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton appointed Slovak diplomat Miroslav Lajcak as head of the EU European External Action Service (EEAS) department for relations with the western Balkans, Eastern Partnership and Russia, The Slovak Spectator reported.
