Russian expert: there are three scenarios of war with Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - Director of the Center of Military Forecasting Anatoly Tsyganok said that there are three scenarios of a war with Iran.

“First, time- (for 2-5 days) and scale-limited missile air strikes at critical sites of nuclear infrastructure, missile launchers, air defense facilities, airdromes and naval bases. Combat operations may be launched by the U.S. or Israel or by their joint armed forces,” Tsyganok told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

According to him, the second scenario includes missile air strikes at wider range of targets compared to the first scenario for several months with gradual intensification of strikes. And the third scenario is an operation similar to the one in Iraq with bringing of troops to the Iranian territory.

“ Baku may give its consent for the U.S. Air Force lift to Iran. Azerbaijan should finally decide on its place in the region. Turkey will condemn invasion and reject provision of its bases, while Moscow, expressing solidarity with the Islamic radicals, in reality will support Israel and the U.S.,” Tsyganok. said
