CoE Bureau decides to restore subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 28, the CoE Bureau voted for restoration of the PACE subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh. Member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE Zaruhi Postanjyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter: “PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu and Foreign Ministry of Turkey forced the adoption of the decision on restoration of the subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh.” Postanjyan noted that all members of the Bureau voted for restoration of the subcommittee, except for the Armenian delegation. “The CoE Bureau’s decision has solely a political pretext. It will do no good for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” she said. Spanish parliamentarian Jordi Xucla i Costa was appointed as chairman of the subcommittee. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
