Hovik Abrahamyan: PACE subcommittee on Karabakh to hamper OSCE MG’s activity

PanARMENIAN.Net - Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan said that discussion of the Karabakh conflict settlement within other formats is unacceptable.

During his meeting with Hungarian Ambassador to Armenia Gabor Sagi, Abrahamyan stressed the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group’s activity, saying that the conflict’s discussion within other formats may harm the negotiation process on the conflict peace resolution.

Abrahamyan voiced concern over restoration of the PACE subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh. According to the Speaker of the Armenian parliament, the establishment of the PACE subcommittee will hamper the OSCE Minsk Group’s activity.

For his part, the Hungarian Ambassador hailed Armenia’s efforts aimed at the conflict settlement, saying that Hungary also believes that the Karabakh conflict should be resolved solely within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, the RA NA press service reported.
