Al-Qaeda calls for Egyptian jihad

PanARMENIAN.Net - The self-proclaimed "Iraq Islamic State" called for an Egyptian jihad. Addressing the anti-government demonstrators who for over two weeks have protested against president Hosni Mubarak, the al-Qaeda's offshoot urged them to fight for a regime based upon the Koran law, sharia.

The appeal is included in a message displayed in the last 24 hours by several fundamentalist online sites, AGI reported.
