International Eurasian Movement leader: I see no way out of Karabakh issue

PanARMENIAN.Net - The International Eurasian Movement leader believes preservation of status quo to be the best solution for conflicting parties of Karabakh issue.

“As I said on many occasions, I see no way out of Karabakh issue, status quo being the best solution that peace process participants can settle for,” Alexander Dugin stated.

To solve the issue, Dugin suggested legal recognition of NKR as a part of Azerbaijan and practical acknowledgement of Armenia’s control over Karabakh. “The solution would be convenient to all but the U.S.,” the expert said, noting that any shift in the situation would result in escalation of the conflict.

“Lack of effectiveness in OSCE MG work is a success in itself, with any progress on the issue capable of resulting in complicated, possibly bloody consequences,” the expert stressed.
