Economist: second crisis wave flared inflation worldwide

PanARMENIAN.Net - Inflation will continue growing in 2011, however it might be curbed, according to the head of Alternative Center for Education, Policy, Research and Economic Analysis.

“The second wave of crisis flared inflation worldwide. But Armenia could use some domestic factors to restrain upsurges and create more favorable situation for the customers,” Tatul Manaseryan told a news conference in Yerevan.

Presenting a research conducted by his center, he noted that “inflation is not always bad, as low inflation rate can stimulate economy development.”
