Women's EURO-2013 group stage draw to be held March 14

PanARMENIAN.Net - The group stage draw of the 2011-13 UEFA European Women's Championship will take place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday March 14.

For seeding purposes, the 38 teams competing in the group stage have been allocated to five pots according to their position in the UEFA women's national team coefficient rankings. The 38 teams will be drawn into seven groups: three groups of six sides and four groups of five sides.

The group stage matches will be played in accordance with the women's international match calendar between September 2011 and September 2012, on Wednesdays/Thursdays and Saturdays/Sundays.

Armenia was included in the seeding pot E along with Bulgaria, Northern Ireland, Turkey, Israel, Estonia, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, UEFA official website reported.
