75-year old Georgian woman responsible for loss of internet connection in ArmeniaApril 5, 2011 - 19:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 75-year old Georgian woman left Armenia without the internet connection for several hours. The woman has already acknowledged her guilt in damaging the fiber-optic cable of Georgian Railway Telecom Ltd, which became a reason for loss of internet connection in Armenia and major part of Georgia on March 28. The elderly woman admitted to be looking for copper on the territory of the village Ksani, where she damaged the fiber-optic cable. Almost immediately, the woman was detained. The woman is accused of major property damage which might result in a prison term for up to 3 years, Lenta.ru reported citing Business Georgia.
