Kiev hosts screening of documentary on Armenian Genocide in Azerbaijan![]() April 9, 2011 - 19:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 9, Kiev hosted a screening of documentaries from Ordinary Genocide: Baku, Sumgait, Maragha series. Documentary evidence, portraying the tragic fate of the Armenian nation, was demonstrated to the Ukrainian audience. Before the screening, Analitika information analytical center expert Yervand Yervandyan presented the historic facts on the Armenian Genocide, as well as Armenian massacres in Baku, Sumgait and Maragha. The presentation was followed by a discussion entitled Armenian Genocide – Impunity Begets Recurrence. Internet project http://maragha.org, revealing actual facts of a massacre of peaceful Armenian population of Maragha, was also presented at the event. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
