Dashnaktsutyun may demand government resignation![]() April 20, 2011 - 12:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun has requested the Armenian government to assess its responsibility for the grave economic and social situation in the republic. “We wonder whether the government can accept its guilt for the pressing problems, except those caused by the global economic recession,” ARFD member Artsvik Minasyan said. According to him, upon receiving the government’s response, the party will suggest public hearings and, maybe, demand the government’s resignation. Asked by a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter when such decision might be adopted, Minasyan said that the party expects a governmental reply within 20 days. “Probably, the government will resign itself during this period,” he said jokingly. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
