Armenian TV Chief: Emmy’s failure is not a tragedy![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - The Chairman of the Council of the Armenian Public Television and Radio Company, Alexan Harutyunyan said that one should not make a tragedy of Emmy not qualifying for Eurovision 2011 final. It is only a contest, while its results can be different, Harutyunyan told a press conference in Yerevan. At the same time, he urged the Armenian public to support Emmy. Any country participating in the contest was in a similar situation, Harutyunyan said, adding that Turkey has not qualified for the final either. “Skeptics wrote for many years that Armenia reserved the 8th place in the contest. Now we see that it cannot last for ever.
