  Kharatyan beats Turkey's Kubra in European Chess Championship round 5May 12, 2011 - 10:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielyan suffered her first loss in the 5th round of European Individual Women Chess Championship in a game against championship leader Viktorija Cmilyte on Lithuania. After the loss, the Armenian chess player dropped to 13th position with 3,5 points. Lilit Galoyan beat Melia Salome to climb to the 10th position; Anahit Kharatyan scored a win against Ozturk Kubra of Turkey. Maria Gevorgyan shared points with Anna Sharevich of Belarus. Lilit Mkrtchyan, Lia Martirosyan, Nelli Aghinyan, Anna Hayrapetyan and Siranush Ghukasyan lost their games.
