Police identified two Jehovah’s Witnesses who attacked priest

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian police identified the two followers of Jehovah’s Witnesses sect, suspected of attacking a priest Yesai Artenyan.

The sectarians, Andranik Mnatsakanyan and Samvel Grigoryan were summoned to a police station to give evidence.

A case has not been instigated yet. The attacked priest is to be examined by an expert in forensic medicine.

According to media reports, on May 15, two followers of Jehovah’s Witnesses sect attacked Yesai Artenyan and beat him in the yard of the Holy Trinity Church in response to the priest’s demand to stop preaching in the church territory. The beating was accompanied by bad language and threats.
