Azeri sniper firing at NKR Defense Army’s positions killed on May 22

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani sniper Farid Farajev, who had been firing at the NKR Defense Army’s positions in direction of Getarat village, was killed on May 22 morning.

According to Voskanapat.info, Farajev had served in an Azerbaijani military unit stationed in Tereter region. He is the 58th loss of the country’s armed forces since the beginning of 2011.

The Armenian side has repeatedly demanded from Azerbaijan that it withdraw snipers from the border with the Republic of Artsakh, but Baku does not agree. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon also urged Baku to withdraw snipers.
