Igor Popov: prompt results can be expected in Karabakh issue

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov said at the line of contact between the Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces that the process of the Karabakh conflict settlement has been intensified and prompt results can be expected in it.

According to U.S. Co-Chair Robert Bradtke, the OSCE Minsk Group is aimed at a peaceful resolution of the conflict. That’s why the Co-Chairs believe it is necessary to hold frequent meetings between representatives of the parties to the conflict.

French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier said, for his part, that the mediators are interested in a peace settlement of the conflict and see necessity in intensifying talks, Trend News reported.
