Armenian MP: Karabakh issue won't be on NATO PA session agenda

PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of Armenian delegation to NATO PA Karen Avagyan doubts the draft document on Karabakh conflict settlement will be included on NATO PA session agenda.

Recently, Azeri MP Malahat Ibrahimgyz stated that NATO PA works on adoption of Karabakh issue –related document; the MP also noted that NATO supports “Azerbaijan's territorial integrity”.

Commenting on the MP's statement, Avagyan noted, “NATO repeatedly expressed its support for Karabakh conflict settlement in accordance with 3 principles: peaceful settlement, people's right for self determination and territorial integrity.”

As the Armenian parliamentarian remarked, Azeri side made several attempts at raising Karabakh issue, and kept failing. “I believe, the issue won't be discussed at the next NATO PA session,” Avagyan stressed.
