"Our aim is to bring the positions of Armenia and Turkey closer and to begin to develop bilateral economic relations", the chairman of the Armenian-Turkish business committee Arsen Ghazarian stated today at a press conference in Yerevan.According to him, the results of committee's 5-year activity testify that the business circles of Turkey are interested in the cooperation with Armenia. The spheres for potential cooperation may become industry, transport, energy and trade. Ghazarian noted that the interested levels of the Turkish society and several politicians realize that as a result of the inadequately considered foreign policy the Turkish government has lost the partnership possibility with Armenia in the matter of regional integration, as well as in using the territory of Armenia for gas transit. "Our committee managed to break the formed stereotypes in the Turkish society about Armenians and to establish a more normal moral-psychological atmosphere", Ghazarian said.
