Konstantin Shanava takes lead at Karen Asrian Memorial

PanARMENIAN.Net - Thanks to a victory over Russia’s Mikhail Ulybin, Georgian grandmaster Konstantin Shanava took the lead at Karen Asrian Memorial going on Jermuk, Armenia.

Armenian grandmaster Ashot Nadanyan is currently second after tying a game with Maxim Turov of Russia.

Karen Asrian Memorial hosts 71 participants (including 19 grandmasters) from 6 countries. The tournament prize fund is USD 15 thousand, to be awarded to 1-15th places winners.
