Mass media school for Diaspora’s young journalists opens in Armenia![]() June 27, 2011 - 18:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A ceremony of a mass media school opening for young journalists of Diaspora took place on June 27 at Yerevan State University. Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, Yerevan State University (YSU) rector Aram Simonyan as well as the head of Education department at Yerevan municipality Gayane Soghomonyan participated in the event. As the press office of the RA Ministry of Diaspora reported, having greeted the students, Ms. Hakobyan wished success to the initiative. She also emphasized the importance of presenting Armenia in information war at a proper scale. The Minister of Diaspora called on young journalists to join in formation of a strong state. The resolution to opening mass media school was made on October 12-16, 2010 in Karabakh during the 5th congress of the Armenian journalists, organized at the initiative of the Armenian Ministry of Diaspora. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners. The number of state universities will be reduced from 23 to 8 by 2030, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has said. Partner news |
