CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS CONCERNED OVER CONDITION OF ARMENIAN TEMPLES IN GEORGIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II is concerned over the sad state of Armenian temples in Georgia. As reported by "De Facto" agency, the Armenian Church head said in the course of a meeting with Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II being in Yerevan on a visit. In his turn the Georgian Patriarch said he was sure there was no reason for unease. "To say the truth, I do not know how many Armenian temples there are in Georgia, but I think everything is all right," - Ilia II said. Let us note there are 16 Armenian churches in Georgia at present, two halves of which need major repairs.
