Armenian President calls reports of pressure in Karabakh issue exaggeration

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will take its best efforts to achieve peaceful and just settlement of Karabakh conflict, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated during the 1st all-army conference of young officers.

“The process of conflict settlement continues, with Armenia upholding a constructive position. OSCE MG co-chairs are trying to approximate the conflicting parties’ positions. The process is complicated, however, Armenia never expected an easy solution,” the President said, characterizing the reports of pressure on Karabakh issue as an exaggeration.

In conclusion, the Armenian leader stressed the importance of fighting capacity of the Armenian army in strengthening Armenia’s position in negotiations.
