Armenia-Ukraine product turnover grossed USD 70 mil in 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan and Ukraine’s Supreme Rada chairman Vladimir Litvin discussed activation of Armenia-Ukraine ties and strengthening of interparliamentary cooperation during their meeting in Yerevan.

At the meeting, Abrahamyan expressed confidence for Litvin’s visit to further stimulate bilateral relations, suggesting formation of Armenia-Ukraine interparliamentary cooperation committee.

As Abrahamyan stated, Ukraine is Armenia’s second major trade partner in CIS. Despite global crisis, in 2010 the product turnover between the two countries increased by USD 70 million against 2005.

In conclusion, Supreme Rada chairman invited Armenian parliamentary speaker to visit Ukraine, the parliamentary press service reported.
