Arax calls upon Armenian Eparchy of Isfahan not to withhold on stolen values from monastery

PanARMENIAN.Net - Arax weekly of Tehran alerts the Union of Armenian Eparchy of Isfahan on commencing its own investigation on stolen icons from the Monastery of St. Christ Savior in New Julfa.

“Again we calls upon Armenian Eparchy of Isfahan to be honest and answer for their own actions, otherwise if continuing to hold back, which can be evaluated as complicity in crime, we shall have to commence our own investigation,” the weekly says.

Arax asks: “How many museum pieces have been stolen from the monastery? Only a small part is presented for auction in London. Were the law enforcement bodied notified? If no, why?”.
