NCFA meets with Armenian tourism sector representatives

PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 5, 2011, at 15:30, National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) hosted a meeting with RA tourism sector representatives at the Best Western Congress Hotel, Yerevan.

RA Deputy Minister of Economy Ara Petrosyan gave an opening speech at the ceremony.

RA Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan highlighted the role of NCFA with regards to Armenian tourism sector development in his welcoming speech. He emphasized the necessity to combine the available potential of both private sector and NCFA for joint projects implementation and overall sector development.

Arman Khachaturyan, Executive Director of NCFA, noted that the Foundarion, being an institution responsible for tourism sector projects elaboration, will facilitate efforts to enhance competitiveness and attractiveness of the sector. In particular, he presented NCFA Tourism Department Strategic Plan, as well as projects to be implemented in the next half-year of 2011. Issues related to RA competitive recovery at international tourism market, development perspectives and refinement trends have been discussed as well.
