"I support the idea of increasing the number of deputies being elected in the parliament by proportional system," Armenian President Robert Kocharian said in an interview to the Armenian National TV, commenting proposals on reforms to the electoral code of the state. Robert Kocharian stressed that "there is not any institute of personal responsibility of deputies in the National Assembly of Armenia." According to the President the responsibility must be taken by the political forces represented in the parliament, and by the majority in particular.
