Armenia’s strongest wrestlers to participate in World Championships in Istanbul

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chief coach of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team has named the squad for the World Championships to take place in Istanbul from September 12 to 18.

Levon Julfalakyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the team includes: Olympic bronze winner, double European champion Roman Amoyan (55 kg), Vahan Jugharyan (60 kg), Arman Adikyan (66 kg), European champion Arsen Julfalakyan (74 kg), Artur Shahinyan (84 kg) and Olympic bronze winner Yuri Patrikeev (120 kg).

Currently, the Armenian wrestlers have gathered for a final training session before the Championships. The team will head for Istanbul on September 10.
