ANC top officials can be easily discredited - Sardarapat member

PanARMENIAN.Net - Top officials of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc are highly vulnerable, with President Serzh Sargsyan able to discredit or buy them off any time, according to a member of Sardarapat movement.“The majority of those speaking from rally tribunes are using sincere impulses of our people in pursuit of personal goals,” Zhirayr Sefilyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

When asked to comment on rumors suggesting his disagreements with ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian and coordinator Levon Zurabyan, Sefilyan refused to reply, noting “time will show who cares more about people.”

At Sept 30 rally, Ter-Petrossian announced 7-day-long round-the-clock protest actions, with ANC supporters putting up tents at Liberty Square. “Whether to continue actions will be decided in a week,” ANC leader noted.
