Sarkozy promises support to Armenia in Karabakh settlement![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - French President Nicolas Sarkozy addressed a letter to his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan expressing France’s support in Karabakh settlement. “France will take best efforts to contribute to the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict through negotiations. I have no doubt of your determination to take major risks for the peace and well-being of your region,” the President said, whishing prosperity to Armenia and the best of luck to President Sargzyan. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
