  ARMENIA MOURNS 88-TH ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY TODAYApril 24, 2003 - 19:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenia mourns the 88-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Turkey. An endless human flow moves to the Eternal Fire in Tsitsernakabert memorial complex as usual to revere the memory of the 1.5 million victims of the monstrous crime perpetrated by the Young Turks early last century. Armenian president Robert Kocharian, parliament speaker Armen Khachatrian, prime minister Andranik Margarian, parliament deputies and members of the Armenian government laid flowers by the Eternal Fire. A liturgy to commemorate the Genocide victims was offered at the Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin today. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
