Artsakh President meets members of Union of Iranian Armenians in LA

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 25, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited in Los Angeles-based Union of Iranian Armenians to meet representatives of the organization.

The socioeconomic situation in the NKR, foreign policy of the republic and the Artsakh-Diaspora ties were in the focus of the meeting.

President Sahakyan praised the role of the Union of Iranian Armenians in preserving Armenian national identity in the Diaspora and strengthening its ties with the Motherland.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, head of the central information department of the office of the Artsakh Republic President David Babayan, NKR permanent representative to USA and Canada Robert Avetisyan attended the meeting, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President.
