Moscow to host CIS leaders informal meeting Dec 20![]() December 2, 2011 - 15:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An informal meeting of CIS leaders dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Commonwealth will be held in Moscow on Dec 20, the CIS Executive Committee's official website reported. The CIS was established in late 1991 after the Soviet Union collapsed in the wake of the global geopolitical changes. The Commonwealth contributed to addressing complex problems associated with the collapse of the USSR and to the formation of independent states as well as preservation and further development of the historical ties of the post-Soviet space programme. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
