ARMENIAN LEADER MET WITH ESTONIAN AND LEBANESE COLLEAGUES IN GENEVADecember 11, 2003 - 17:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's President Robert Kocharian met with Estonian leader Arnold Ruutel and Lebanon's President Emil Lahoud in Geneva within the framework of the World Summit on Information Society being held there. R. Kocharian discussed with his Estonian associate the prospects of expanding bilateral economic relations, Mediamax agency informs. The parties viewed the possibility of cooperation in the sphere of information technologies between the two countries, as Armenia and Estonia claim to leadership in this field in their regions. The Presidents also discussed the possibility of cooperation between the Baltic and South Caucasian states within "3+3" format. During the meeting the parties agreed upon Arnold Ruutel's formal visit to Armenia in 2004. The issues of bilateral relations as well as the situation in the South Caucasus and Near East have been considered at the meeting of Robert Kocharian and Lebanese President Emil Lahoud.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
