Deputy FM: mobility partnership with EU improves human relations![]() December 7, 2011 - 18:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Ministry hosted a conference on Armenia’s signing agreement. In his welcome speech Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan noted that “partnership with European Union on mobility issues improves human relations in general.” Dwelling on effectiveness of the conference, Mr. Mnatsakanyan said that it will enable a wider range of people, NGO representatives for instance, to familiarize themselves with agreement terms, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported reported. On October 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, EU's home affairs commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom signed a joint declaration between Armenia and EU on mobility partnership aimed at controlling migrant flows between Armenia and EU, countering illegal migration and regulation of Armenian citizens’ legal entry. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
