Armenia says dialogue with EU on human rights important![]() December 7, 2011 - 18:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and EU delegations met on December 6 to discuss human rights issues. At the meeting, Armenian side stressed the importance of the dialogue with the EU in human rights sector, with the parties exchanging views on the possibility of cooperation in the framework of international organizations, specifically UN, OSCE, CoE. In conclusion, the delegations agreed to organize a seminar, with representatives of civil society attending, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported. Armenian delegation was led by deputy foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanian; EU delegation was headed by the Personal Representative of the SG/HR on Human Rights at the Council of the European Union Riina Kionka. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
