No insurmountable differences between Prosperous Armenia and RPA – MP

PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no insurmountable differences between Prosperous Armenia and Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), National Assembly vice speaker, RPA press secretary Eduard Sharmazanov said.

“We might have differences in professional matters but overall the coalition is united and pursues the memorandum-stipulated policy,” Sharmazanov told a news conference in Yerevan.

He stressed that 2011 has been effective for the coalition as proved by February coalition memorandum, “where coalition members pledged to support the single candidacy of President Serzh Sargsyan”.

Commenting on Republicans’ policies towards upcoming elections, Sharmazanov said that so far the party did not discuss any strategic and tactical plans in this respect and will consider them during party Congress to be convened in February-March 2012.

Sharmazanov said Republican Party considers itself the favorite of upcoming parliamentary elections.
