Armenians of Georgia rally to thank France for Genocide bill adoptionDecember 23, 2011 - 12:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Assembly of Tbilisi Armenians will hold appreciation “Merci” rally before French Embassy in Georgia at 1:00pm, December 23. The board of Assembly of Tbilisi Armenians as well as leaders of other Armenian organizations - Union of Armenian veterans of the Georgia, Nor Serund Association of Georgian Armenians, Armenian Youth Association of Georgia – initiated the campaign after French National Assembly approved the bill criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide. The demonstrators will also hand over a letter of appreciation to French ambassador to Georgia. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
