Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu: battle against racism, xenophobia priority to PACE![]() January 7, 2012 - 15:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The outgoing PACE president Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu summed up the results of his activities on air of Voice of Turkey radio station. “We launched a struggle against dramatically increasing tendencies of racism and xenophobia in Europe as a threat which cannot be underestimated,” the speaker said, naming the struggle a priority issue on PACE agenda. “Also, the work to consolidate the inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue is in progress,” Çavuşoğlu noted. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
